About PTCL and its billing

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited is the country's largest landline and broadband provider, serving residential and business customers nationwide with phone lines, DSL and fibre internet packages. Every month PTCL issues a bill combining line rent, call charges, internet package fees and any applicable taxes, along with a due date and a slightly higher amount payable after that date.

Because a single PTCL account can bundle landline, internet and even TV services together, the total on your bill can vary month to month — checking it online avoids surprises before you pay.

How to check your PTCL bill

  1. Find your 10-digit PTCL account or phone number — printed at the top of any previous PTCL bill, or usable directly as your landline number with the area code.
  2. Open the CitizenPay bill checker, choose the Internet tab and select PTCL.
  3. Type the number and press Check bill. Your account name (partially masked for privacy), billing month, due date and payable amount appear instantly.
  4. Optionally, sign in and press Save & remind me to get an SMS or WhatsApp alert before every future due date.

Understanding the amounts on your bill

Payable within due date is what you owe if you pay on time. Payable after due date includes a late-payment surcharge. If a previous month's balance is unpaid, it is carried forward and included in the total — clearing it promptly avoids service suspension.

💡 Tip: your PTCL account number identifies the connection, not the person. If you've moved into a new house or office, you can check the bill using the number on any old bill left at the property.

Need a duplicate or reprint of your PTCL bill?

If your paper bill is lost, damaged or never arrived, you do not need a duplicate copy to pay on time — the amount, due date and status above come straight from your account number. For an official duplicate or reprint, visit your nearest PTCL customer service centre in Islamabad or any city with your CNIC and account number, or use PTCL's own duplicate-bill service where available. CitizenPay.pk does not issue official duplicate bills — we only display the amount, due date and status already published by PTCL.

Frequently asked questions

Is checking a PTCL bill on CitizenPay free?

Yes, completely free with no registration. You only see the bill details — we mask part of the account holder's name for privacy, exactly as official inquiry systems do.

My PTCL bill never arrived. Can I still pay on time?

Yes. Paper delivery delays don't change your due date. Check the amount online with your account or phone number and pay through your bank app, wallet or any authorised collection point before the due date.

I paid but the status still shows unpaid.

Payments usually reflect within minutes, but near due dates PTCL's system can take up to 24 hours to update. Keep your payment receipt as valid proof while the status catches up.

Can I check several PTCL connections at once?

Yes — create a free CitizenPay account and save each connection with a label like "Home" or "Office". Your dashboard shows all of them together with individual reminders.
