Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide: if you create an account, we collect your name, mobile number, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you save a bill, we store the reference number and the label you give it. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address to respond.

Information collected automatically: like most websites, we receive standard technical data — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and time spent — used for security, debugging and improving the site.

Bill lookups: reference numbers you enter into the checker are used to perform the lookup you requested. We do not sell or share lookup queries with advertisers.

2. Cookies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your theme (light/dark) and language preference, and measure site traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; core pages will still work, but sign-in and preferences will not persist.

3. Advertising (Google AdSense)

This website displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies — including the DART cookie — to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site.

You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or aboutads.info. We do not control the cookies used by third-party advertisers.

4. How we use information

5. Data protection

All traffic is encrypted with SSL/TLS. Passwords are hashed, sensitive identifiers are encrypted at rest, and access to systems is restricted and logged. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we follow current industry practice.

6. Your rights

You may request a copy of your account data, correct it, or delete your account entirely by contacting us through the contact page. Deleting your account removes saved bills and reminders; payment records may be retained where required for financial record-keeping.

7. Children

This site is intended for adults managing household and business bills. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site.
